About the Bethesda Blood Drive
On June 18, 2024, we held our very first blood drive at the Bethesda Fire Department. It was an incredible success, with over 50 pints of blood collected, potentially saving up to 150 lives. The event brought together members of the community, first responders, and volunteers all united by a common goal – to make a difference.
The journey wasn't without its challenges. From securing the venue to ensuring we had enough volunteers, every step required dedication and teamwork. But seeing the impact we made, the lives we touched, and the sense of community that blossomed made every effort worthwhile.
Since that day, we've continued to grow, learning from each experience and striving to improve with every blood drive. Now, we have collected a total of over 150 pints of blood, saving up to 450 lives. We invite you to be a part of this life-saving mission, whether as a donor, a volunteer, or a supporter.
